DDM and ThomasArts Create New DMC Web site
Deseret Digital Media and ThomasArts launched a new Web site for Deseret Media Companies on Feb. 12. DMC is a for-profit arm of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, which owns various media companies including Deseret News, KSL Television & Radio, Deseret Book and Deseret Digital Media.
The launch of the site is part of a larger media campaign for DMC to publicize its new mission statement, which establishes the company and its entities as "trusted voices of light and knowledge." The campaign includes radio, print, TV and Web ads that began running during the opening ceremonies of the 2010 Winter Olypmic Games, helping DMC reach the "hundreds of millions of people worldwide" that its mission outlines.
DDM's collaboration with ThomasArts is part of DDM's new initiative to work with advertising agencies in a variety of different ways in the community.
